Muhammadiyah Encourages Muslims to Enhance Entrepreneurial Ethos and Spirit
SUARA NEGERI | YOGYAKARTA — The Chairman of the Muhammadiyah Central Leadership (PP), Prof. Dr. H. Haedar Nashir, M.Si., delivered the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H Sermon at Muhammadiyah University Yogyakarta on Friday (March 20th).
On this occasion, Haedar Nashir urged Muslims to build a better life together and a better environment based on piety.
"Prioritize a life of harmony, peace, mutual respect, tolerance, and togetherness," he urged.
He also emphasized that Muslims should avoid anything that causes conflict, division, hostility, and conflict, which can lead to a distance from God's grace.
"Use social media as a vehicle for goodness and piety, not as a tool for evil, hostility, slander, and sin," he added.
Furthermore, let's build a more intelligent, prosperous, just, and progressive life together. As a people and a nation, we face increasingly complex challenges and problems, both in our daily lives and in our national and global spheres.
"As the largest population, Muslims must advance in all areas of life and must not be left behind. Enhance our entrepreneurial spirit, knowledge, and progress," he said.
"Advance the levels of education, health, social, economic, and national roles, so that we truly reflect a superior Muslim community as Khaira Ummah," he concluded. (*)
