Waste Management Becomes a Concern for Council Members in Jakarta
SUARA NEGERI ■ JAKARTA — The Special Committee (Pansus) on Waste Management of the Jakarta Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD) held a meeting with its members at the DPRD Building in Kebon Sirih, Central Jakarta, yesterday.
"The meeting was part of a coordination effort to streamline time by scheduling meetings every Wednesday for six months," said Pansus Chair Judistira Hermawan.
Setting a specific meeting date can create order and effectiveness in the Pansus' work, thereby expediting the resolution of discussions on waste issues in the capital. Pansus Chair Judistira Hermawan and Deputy Pansus Chair Husen chaired the meeting. (*)
