Hengsheng Plants Trees in Factory Area, Here's the Goal

SUARA NEGERI | BANTAENG — PT Hengsheng New Energy Material Indonesia continues to demonstrate its commitment to environmental preservation through reforestation activities at its factory site located in Mawang Hamlet, Papanloe Village, Pajukukang District, Bantaeng Regency.

The tree-planting activity was carried out by several company employees on Saturday, March 7, 2026. This program is part of the company's efforts to support environmental sustainability and create a greener and more environmentally friendly industrial area.

PT Hengsheng New Energy Material Indonesia's Operations Manager, A.M. Yusuf Kadir, stated that this reforestation activity demonstrates the company's responsibility to the environment surrounding its operational area.

"We are very proud to contribute to maintaining environmental sustainability and improving the quality of life around our factory. This reforestation program is one of PT Hengsheng New Energy Material Indonesia's concrete steps in positively impacting the environment and the community," he said.

A similar sentiment was echoed by one of the company's employees, Abdul Talib. He stated that tree-planting is not only a corporate obligation but also provides significant benefits to the surrounding environment.

"This planting aims to create a green, cool, and environmentally friendly environment around the factory. Besides making the area more beautiful, trees also play a vital role in absorbing carbon dioxide and improving air quality," he explained.

Through this program, PT Hengsheng New Energy Material Indonesia also encourages employees and the surrounding community to participate in reforestation activities through joint tree planting and environmental education.
