PKB Chairman Calls for Revision of 108 Laws to Advance 'Prabowonomics'

SUARA NEGERI ■ JAKARTA — National Awakening Party (PKB) Chairman Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar on Sunday called for the revision of 108 laws as part of efforts to implement "Prabowonomics," an economic concept he described as being rooted in Indonesia's constitutional principles.

Speaking after flagging off the PKB Run 2026 event at Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno sports complex, Muhaimin said the proposed legal overhaul would include a review of the Job Creation Law, the Mining Law, and other regulations that he argued are inconsistent with constitutional economic development.

He also urged the government to strengthen targeted fiscal policies by directing a larger share of the state budget toward programs that deliver tangible benefits to the public, including bridge construction for students in remote areas, school rehabilitation, and entrepreneurship support.

Muhaimin said regulatory reform and people-oriented public spending would provide the foundation for Prabowonomics while aligning national development with Indonesia's constitutional mandate for economic justice. (Jamil)
